He was given the chance, and was offered a scholarship with Berry College, which allowed him to play golf professionally. Ed Cunliffe graduated with a degree in Business Management and Economics, but spent 2 years after graduation as a professional golfer. He later realized he had another interest: entrepreneurship. In 2001, he decided the best way to pursue his new career goals was to work in the face-to-face sales industry. He started off as an entry-level sales representative, and 5 months later was promoted into management. Another 5 months later he opened up his own office in Denver, CO. From 2002 to 2004, he expanded to 3 highly successful offices in Denver, CO and Atlanta, GA. Over the next 10 years, Edward Cunliffe went from 3 to 65 offices, and began consulting. Veritas Inc., the headquarters of Ed's business in Atlanta, specializes in direct marketing and represents some of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the world. Ed Cunliffe believes that- given the right mix of attitude and work ethic- more and more people could achieve a successful career working in direct marketing. Ed has devoted a much of his time into mentoring others so they can have the same success that he had. Edward currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and 2 dogs Pippa and Oscar, both of which he adopted from the local animal shelter. In his spare time, he is an avid golfer and competes in many competitions. He is a donor to the Atlanta Humane Society, the Down Syndrome Associate (through Wyatt's Warriors) and the ASPCA. He is also a member of the Capital City Club.
